Emu Hire Pty Ltd and its directors have been made aware that certain representations made on the companies’ website and in marketing material may have misled consumers.

Representations were made that Emu Hire Pty Ltd provided mattress sanitisation services using a product manufactured by Emu Hire Pty Ltd and which purported to be a mattress sanitiser using Germicidal Ultra Violet Lights. Experts in the field of Germicidal Ultra Violet Light have concluded that there is no scientific basis behind these representations made by Emu Hire Pty Ltd, and that these representations are deemed to be false and misleading to the consumer.

This product was used by Emu Hire from June 2010 till 16 February 2012. Consumers or clients are invited to contact Emu Hire should they wish to discuss this matter.
