Optional Hire Insurance
Holiday plans can change in a heartbeat. Our optional hire insurance gives you peace of mind by reducing the cost you would pay if hired items are accidentally damaged or stolen during your stay.
How pricing works
Insurance is calculated on the hire subtotal of the items in your cart. Delivery charges and payment processing fees are excluded from the calculation.

You'll always see the exact insurance amount in your booking summary before confirming payment, so there are no surprises.
What's covered

- Accidental damage during normal holiday use.
- Theft when items are secured at your accommodation.
- Manufacturer faults that arise while items are in your care.
💡 Good to know
- Intentional misuse or neglect isn't covered by insurance.
- Unattended or unsecured items fall outside the policy.
- Claims with a combined value over $1,000 incur a $100 excess.

How to add insurance
- Add your hire items to the cart and choose your hire dates.
- On the checkout page, tick Add hire insurance to include the cover in your booking summary.
- The insurance amount will be added to your total before you complete payment.
